Hillier
Yoga
Teacher, Counsellor, Facilitator, Author
Gerry
is a qualified, experienced yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga for
the past 20 years. She has trained with various yoga teachers and
different schools of yoga and continues to do so but has developed her
own eclectic style of yoga expression which continues to evolve through her own study and experimentation.
Gerry is a senior teacher with the YTAA.
In 2002 Gerry opened the Gympie Yoga and Relaxation Centre with the aim
to promote yoga to enhance health, peace, hope and joy in the lives of
others. Gerry considers it a privilege to be a teacher - not only
because she is able to assist others in their endeavours but also
because she continues to learn through her students and is also enriched
by their knowledge. Gerry is also a counsellor and writer and
since 1990 has taught
drama in regional schools. She also coordinates youth theatre and
women's theatre & facilitates workshops in personal growth
and development through yoga, meditation, art, movement and drama.

Nikki
has been practising Ka Huna for four years and currently facilitates courses at the institute where she trained, Mette’s
Institute in the Noosa Hinterland. Nikki is passionate and dedicated to
self empowerment and self healing and totally loves what she does!
I
have recently become a permanent resident of the Sunny coast after 18
months of travelling between here and my former home of Canberra. I have
farewelled my clients there to commit myself fully to this area.
I
am also a fully qualified beauty therapist and use
natural and organic ingredients as much as is possible.
It
is a unique treatment in that the practitioner uses their forearms, hands
and elbows to work rhythmically and fluidly over the body.
Ka
Huna is a great way to
-
· improve
flexibility
-
· re-energise
and rejuvenate
-
· heal
injuries
-
· improve
circulation and respiration
-
· transform
emotional distress such as depression, anxiety, grief & self
criticism

Each time you have a Ka Huna massage
will be a new and different experience. Healing can occur physically
or you may shift old emotional pain, or experience energy shifts and
connect closer to your soul. There are no limits, be free. The
atmosphere that is created between client and practitioner is a safe
and sacred environment tuned to healing and acceptance.
